Key dates New teams? Umpires courses

Dear all,

A few headlines from the Management Committee last week:

Dinner with celebrity guest Steve Harmison 8 November - contact for tickets and more information
AGM 2 December at Burneside CC 7.30pm
We have had expressions of interest to join the league from Vickerstown CC and from Sedbergh School to play their second team in the league next season (it is their third team that played this season) This may mean changes to the number of teams in Divisions for 2020 and may mean in some divisions it is two up two down
Can you let me have any nominations for the League Achievement Award by the end of September. Note please that we are looking for contributions to the league rather than an individual club
There has been a drop off in the posting of results on Play Cricket. Can we lease make sure all results are online by 10pm on Saturday so everyone can see final league standings
Umpires courses are now live for registration

We have had a really good response from clubs about the coaching courses. Peter Robinson has submitted the funding application to Sport England and sought Partnership funding to make the bid more likely to be approved. The Management Committee has discussed this and agreed that clubs should initially pay £10 per participant, but the League will reimburse clubs once it has been confirmed that graduates from the course have completed at least six coaching sessions during 2020.
Congratulations to all teams that have won their league or cup this season
LMC minutes will follow shortly
