Final weekend preview

By Tim Mansfield

Who will win the Division 4 title?

All the major issues in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 are resolved, so the main focus will be Sunday when leaders Burneside 2nds go to Woodhill Lane to play Morecambe 4ths. A Morecambe win could give them the title, but it could also deliver it to Bare 2nds who trail Burneside by 7 points. Bare entertain Westgate 3rds.

Today, champions Westgate play at Bare for a local derby where they won’t be able to rest on their laurels. Holme visit Cartmel needing 6 points to be certain of adding the John Thexton Trophy to the Willink Shield, whist now safe Sedgwick 2nds go to Ambleside who need to win to be certain of finishing third.
