Week 14 Preview

By Tim Mansfield

Can Sedgwick complete the double over Heysham?

Sedgwick travel to Heysham and will want to put a disappointing week behind them. Who better to do it against than the league leaders. But the game of the day sees second play third as Westgate host Shireshead, six days after Shires’ disappointing display in the Hackney and Leigh semifinal. The game of the day on Sunday sees Bare 2nds travel to play leaders Morecambe 4ths. It’s not quite Liverpool FC being formed from Everton FC, but Bare Cricket Club was formed in 1948 as part of Morecambe CC and initially played friendly matches at Woodhill Lane before becoming a standalone club.
