Arnside host Shireshead in the League today (Thursday) starting a full Bank Holiday weekend programme.

Today sees the first Thursday League game in the history of the WCL when Arnside entertain Shireshead in Division 1. The game has been moved from Saturday because of Jubilee celebrations on the Arnside ground on Saturday.

It starts a full programme of matches over the weekend as the group stage of the T20 competitions continue tomorrow and next week.

The game of the day on Saturday in Division 1 sees leaders Sedgwick host rapidly improving Burneside in an intriguing local derby. The game of the day in Division 2 is Cartmel v Westgate 2nds. On the QT Cartmel have climbed into second place, but Westgate are always competitive.

The game of the day in Division 4 on Sunday is the meeting of the top 2 at Burneside where Bare 2nds face a challenge to their leadership of the division.
